This individual will handle the following job duties:
  • Review development of analytical software to address performance measurement, attribution, profit and loss measurement, and pricing models
  • Collaborate in the testing of software to ensure compliance with user requirements, specifications, or scope
  • Develop quantitative financial products to inform clients engaged in investing and risk management
  • Maintain and modify financial analytic systems
  • Provide application and analytical support to traders on issues such as valuations or data
  • Produce written summary reports of financial research results
  • Evaluate models from a technical perspective, prepare documentation, code and data
  • Research new financial products or analytics to determine their usefulness
Required travel: None
Required Qualifications:
Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
Experience: 12 months of experience in a related occupation. Requires 12 months of experience with the following:
  • C++, C#, and Python coding languages
  • Administer, create, and implement mathematical algorithms
  • Administer mathematical risk models
  • Create and maintain methods of data collection
  • Analyze software solutions
  • Database Management using SQL

Trading Clerks support the efforts of the EMM’s experienced traders. Training is intensive and hours must be flexible. This program presents a great opportunity to grow an in-depth understanding into the world of futures trading. You will be in close contact with senior traders and learn the craft first-hand.

Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations of multiple trading desks
  • Reconcile start-of-day positions and perform settlement reporting procedures at end-of-day
  • Monitor and manage ongoing positions and resting orders
  • Execute algorithmic trading strategies through multiple platforms
  • Maintain effective communication with senior traders on a daily basis
  • Develop market knowledge and skills: product specifications, transaction costs, economic data releases, order flow, matching algorithms
  • Adhere strictly to rules, regulations, trading policies, and guidelines
Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, accounting, computer science, statistics, economics, business administration, finance
  • Passion for financial, commodity, and agricultural markets and trading
